Born in Punta Umbria, Spain, Antonio Cazorla has been an artist ever since his youth and has been painting with oils for nearly his entire life. He studied fine arts formally at the University of Seville, Spain. While his subjects vary from landscape, to still-lifes, to figure, his precise understanding of color and seamless interpretations of organic and man-made textures clearly distinguish his works.

Cazorla’s paintings stand out for not only their meticulous detail and the masterful hand that made them, but for their quietness, stillness, serenity, and sensuality—found even in something as sterile as a glass beaker.
